Is it me or am I the only one to come to this conclusion while watching the match between MU and Burton Albion? As the game progressed, it began to feel as if the 2 teams were playing for a draw, thus allowing Burton to snatch a replay at Old Trafford... Such a replay will earn Burton an additional 500,000 pound-sterling. MU is also none too worried cos their fixtures this year is not so congested with them being out of all European competitions.
Anyway, its just my own opinion. More likely, MU played with their nose too high and underestimated the way lower-league/non-league teams such as Burton are inspired by past giant-killing feats and continue the time honoured tradition of the FA Cup.
So there, that's my contribution to this year's load of conspiracy theory ler :)
